MY THOUGHTS
Right from reading the first extract of this book I was hooked.
Rewind is a very clever, modern thriller, that will have you doubting how much you share on social media. We start with creepy holiday cottage owner, Andrew, watching a murder unfold on a camera he has hidden within one of his lets and then we time hop between him, influencer Natalie who has walked out of her seemingly perfect life, struggling reporter Audrey and hotel owner Jennifer.
Catherine Ryan Howard really knows how to set a scene, right from the off this book is dark and chilling, she sets the scene so well without over describing every detail. As I said, this book does time hop, but I found it so easy to follow, not so much because of the named chapters, but because it was well written and it flows so well.
I did know who the killer was and had worked out what was going on but this doesn’t take away from the thrill of this book.
REWIND is released on August 22nd.
