Alicia Berenson lived a seemingly perfect life until one day six years ago. When she shot her husband in the head five times. Since then she hasn't spoken a single word.

It's time to find out why.

I like the plot of the book I thought it was a very clever idea however the execution of it wasn’t great and it ended up becoming unrealistic.

The chapters are short, fast paced and kept me gripped. Most are told from Theo’s perspective and some from Alicia’s diary in the run up to her husbands murder. I found the timelines hard to follow and there was quite a few sub plots that lead to nothing and didn’t really contribute to the overall storyline. The twist was good but it was revealed very close to the end of the book and it ended up feeling very rushed to get any loose ends tied up and lead to a conclusion. It felt like the books purpose was to shock you with the twist rather than an actual storyline.
